Sunrise Over Beecroft
On the other side of Jervis Bay to the Booderee National Park is the Beecroft Peninsula and the coastal village of Currarong. It's a great spot with awesome beaches, shipwrecks, lookouts and bush walks. This is how it looked about 20 minutes after sunrise from 100m up in the air. The beach you can see is the strangely named Abraham Bosom Beach, so called because of an Old Testament reference to safety, as the area afforded shelter to vessels plying the coast in turbulent weather.
