Pebbly Beach

Pebbly Beach

It's pretty tough for one location to stand out on a stretch of coastline as stunning and varied as the south coast of NSW, but I think that the beaches of the Murramurang National Park manage it. This is Pebbly Beach - which has been a very popular spot for many years, thanks to its amazing location and resident population of beach-going kangaroos. You may not have seen Pebbly from this angle though, looking back on the beach from the drone, with the hills rising steeply behind. You can stay in cabins here, but they get booked out pretty quickly. And no, I've got no idea why it's called Pebbly Beach. :)
