Singing Stones Beach

Singing Stones Beach

Just south of Ulladulla is the amazing Singing Stones Beach. This tiny little beach is located south of Pretty Beach in the Murramurang National Park. Singing stones gets its name due to the crystalline and fine-grained Rhyolite and Chert pebbles that were deposited here about 300 million years ago on glacier ice. The little bay serves as a natural amphitheatre, amplifying the sound of the rocks washed against each in the waves.
